A second place finish is vital for Bracknell Town as they face Ashford Town (Middlesex) in the final Bostik League South Central Division One fixture of the season on Saturday.

Four sides are jostling for position in the play offs including Bracknell, Cheshunt, Marlow and Westfield – with a win guaranteeing the Robins the all important runners up spot behind champions Hayes & Yeading United.

Second place would ensure Bracknell’s crucial points per game record would be one of the highest at step 4 while it would also ensure home advantage in the play off semi final and, should they reach it, the final.

The semi finals will take place on Tuesday 30th April with the final on Saturday 4th May. The winners ‘should’ then be promoted to the step 3.

For the Robins, winning the final would be a historic day for the club, representing an opportunity for the club to play at the highest level it ever has.
