Royal Wootton Bassett Town and former Bracknell Town favourite TJ Bohane looks set for a spell on the sidelines.

The striker reportedly suffered a broken ankle and foot while playing for former club Highworth Town in 4-1 Evo Stik Southern League defeat to Yate Town on Saturday.

Bohane signed on dual registration with Highworth who play a division higher in part due to Bassett’s lack of games since the turn of the year, however Bassett did beat Binfield 1-0 on Saturday at home.

The striker, who started the season with Wantage Town, had looked a good bet for the Hellenic League golden boot having scored 18 times in 25 games.

Bohane is behind Wantage’s Stephen Robertson in the list with 19 and Nathan Minhas on 24, though he is now on loan at Kingstonian from Billericay Town after leaving Ascot United.
