Word has just reached Football in Bracknell that the Uhlsport Hellenic League has blanket called off all fixtures in the competition at the weekend.
Binfield had been due to visit Longlevens while Ascot United were headed up to Brackley Town Saints, but it has been confirmed by several sources that the league – rather sensibly in our view – has called all games off on Saturday, this Friday morning.
A statement from the league confirmed all fixtures were off and would initially be rescheduled for Saturday 20th April.
The league added that: “Any club playing in an external competition [Windsor in FA Vase] will need to seek guidance from that competition with regard to their situation.”
Live updates.. we’ll be posting updates on postponements here
