Hellenic League side Reading City have confirmed striker Mitchell Parker will join up with the 16 man FA England squad in November.

The team is due to play an ‘ambassadorial’ match on the Falkland Islands between Wednesday 7th November and Tuesday 13th November.

Parker is the latest known player in the squad joining Bracknell Town’s Liam Ferdinand in the main 16 while the Robins Joe Grant and Marlow’s Isaac Osei-Tutu are both on the contingency list.

Parker would be absent from City’s Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division home tie with Brackley Town Saints on Saturday 10th November.

The squad will be managed by former Barnet and Stevenage Borough manager Paul Fairclough – the man behind the England C team, and who gave Sam Barratt two Three Lions caps.

Football in Bracknell has requested a squad list from the FA. As it stands we’ll have to continue piecing it together!
