Saturday see’s a host of Preliminary Round ties take place in the 2018/19 Emirates FA Cup and all eyes will then be on the first ‘proper’ draw of the season.

By proper, we mean that as the FA Cup Extra Preliminary and Preliminary rounds are pre drawn in July with EPR winners knowing who they will face next, this will be the first live draw of the competition.

The First Qualifying round means clubs in the Evo Stik North, South and Bostik League Premier Division’s should join the fray. The round is also the first in this seasons competition where the losing side won’t receive any prize money. The winners will receive £6,000 – double the amount at the same stage last season.

Binfield and Thatcham Town are the Berkshire representatives left in at this stage with the likes of Slough Town, Maidenhead United and Reading added in later rounds.
