After a few years break, both Bracknell Town and Thatcham Town return to the Buildbase FA Trophy which is the FA competition for clubs competing at steps 1-4 of the non-league pyramid.
In previous years the competition has commenced with a Preliminary Round but the new divisions at step 3 and step 4 has seen an increase in the numbers of entrants which means this year there will also be an Extra Preliminary Round.
That said, both Bracknell and Thatcham have received a BYE through to the Preliminary Round so we have no local representation in the Extra Preliminary Round.
Bracknell were last in the FA Trophy in 2009/10 coincidentally losing 8-1 to Thatcham in the First Qualifying Round whilst the Kingfishers last competed in 2013/15 losing to Mangotsfield United 3-1 in the Preliminary Round.

Ashford United or Haywards Heath Town v Bracknell Town
