Binfield captain and central midfielder James Knight was singled out by his manager Roger Herridge this week as he joined a select band of players to have played every minute of his sides Hellenic League Premier Division campaign.

If that wasn’t impressive enough, Herridge revealed it’s the second season in succession his skipper has achieved that particular milestone.

Firstly, what an achievement for a player at this level. Undoubtedly juggling work and travel but also not picking up any injuries during the season on what will have been some very difficult pitches – especially for such a hard working player in the centre of the park.

We thought we’d have a look to see if there were any other players who had played every minute of every Hellenic League Premier Division game and see who else ranked. Data from the FA’s full time site, all players in the list played a part in all 38 games.

  1. James Knight (Binfield)
  2. Chris Rackley (Thatcham Town)
  3. Jack Wright (Abingdon United) – subbed off 1 time
  4. Stephen Robertson (Wantage Town) – subbed off 11 times
  5. Samuel Wharton (Abingdon United) – subbed on 6 times, off 21 times
  6. Myron Turner (Longlevens) – subbed on 4 times

The highest league appearance makers for Bracknell Town were Carl Davies and Chris Grace (36), Alex Reed made 36 appearances for Woodley United and Lee Allen made 35 for Ascot United.
