Ascot United miss out on Hellenic League Cup Final

There won’t be a Hellenic League Cup Final appearance for Ascot United after the Yellamen were knocked out at the semi final stage by Flackwell Heath

A fairy tail end to Neil Richards time in charge at Ascot United won’t happen after the Yellamen lost in the semi final of the Bluefin Sport Hellenic League Supplementary Cup.

United lost 2-0 at Flackwell Heath, the first goal coming on 42 minutes and the killer second on 90 minutes.

Former Highmoor Ibis boss Marcus Richardson is now in charge at Flackwell and his side will face Burnham after the blues beat Highworth Town 1-0.

Ascot have completed their league fixtures and sit 14th, however if results go against them they may drop to 16th, though they are safe from relegation.
