Arsenal and Manchester City, two of England’s best women’s football teams clash at Wycombe Wanderers Adams Park on Wednesday evening in the Continental Cup Final (kick off 7pm – 14th March)
The match will see a host of England internationals – injury and selection permitting of course with City featuring Steph Houghton as well as Demi Stokes, Abbie McManus, Isobel Christiansen, Georgia Stanway, Keira Walsh, Nikita Parris, Melissa Lawley and Jill Scott from Phil Neville’s She Believes Cup squad while Arsenal boast international experience in Jordan Nobbs, Leah Williamson and Danielle Carter.
The FA WSL Continental Cup is the equivalent of the EFL League Cup and has been competed for since 2011 – coincidentally the two 2018 finalists are the only clubs to have ever lifted the trophy.
