Uhlsport Hellenic Football League clubs can call off their weekend fixtures without needing a pitch inspection from 3pm on Friday afternoon.
Snow has fallen across Berkshire leaving clubs with a lot of work to do if they are to have a chance of getting their fixtures on and leagues like the East Berks Football Alliance and Thames Valley Premier League have already confirmed their fixtures will be off.
The Hellenic League’s Chief Executive Brian King emailed all clubs saying: “Home club secretaries to advise from 3pm Friday, 2nd March the present conditions at their location and the viability of matches being played. I am not expecting many calls of a positive nature. Should grounds be totally snowbound and/or frozen at the stated time of 3pm Club Officers will be able to POSTPONE scheduled matches without the need of a formal inspection by a Match Referee.”

As yet there are no confirmed local Hellenic postponements though we understand via twitter that Virginia Water have been informed by their landlords Windsor that Stag Meadow is unplayable and more are certainly expected to follow.

- Fairford Town vs Windsor
- Highmoor Ibis vs Tuffley Rovers
- Longlevens vs Woodley United
- Lydney Town vs Ascot United
- Virginia Water vs Didcot Town Reserves
- Wokingham & Emmbrook vs Holyport
Slightly further afield the Combined Counties League and Suburban Football League’s have both confirmed matches can be called off early on Friday.
