Coleshill Town and Newcastle Benfield played our a heart in mouth FA Vase fourth round replay encounter in the Midlands on Saturday, with the former winning through and hosting Bracknell Town on Saturday 3rd February.

It took 120 minutes plus penalties to split the sides but in the end it was the promotion chasing Midland Football League side who prevailed despite the visitors seeming to have won the tie with a late goal – only for Coleshill to equalise in injury time. 1-1 was how it stayed and the Colemen took the shoot out 4-2.

The result means a slightly shorter, but no less important away day for the Robins who could easily have faced a five and a half hour trip to the North East but will instead enjoy a relatively straightforward two hour journey up the M40 to the East of Birmingham city centre.
