The referee abandoned this evenings Perpetua Press Floodlit Cup tie between Highmoor Ibis and Bracknell Town with just 13 minutes left on the clock shortly after showing a red card to an Ibis player.

The sides had played out a 0-0 draw in the Second Round of the competition to that point when the match was called off.

A tweet from Bracknell Town read: “Game abandoned, nothing to do with any of our players, any further comment will come from Highmoor Ibis.”

The two sides are due to meet again in a weeks time at Larges Lane, this time in the Hellenic Premier Division.
