Saturday wasn’t a great afternoon for Binfield following their 3-2 defeat to Woodley United, but young winger Josh Howell did raise the Moles spirits with a terrific goal from a free kick.

The strike came with Binfield 3-0 down in the second and sparked the Moles in to life with Brad Pagliaroli scoring a second – ultimately though time ran out for Roger Herridge’s side.

It was a brilliant win for Woodley, their first in the Hellenic Premier Division while forward Ian Davies scored the Kestrels first league goal of the season.

The goal of the afternoon though belonged to Howell, and you can watch it in all it’s glory as the youngster whips the ball in and completely wrong foots United goalkeeper Alex Reed.
