How to apply for a £750 grant for your team

Fund aims to support the creation of new teams and increase participation

The window is now open for teams to apply for up to £750 from the Berks & Bucks FA Football Fund with the key focus on setting up new teams.

It is the second time the County FA have been able to run the funding window – which is open until 30th June – and last year they awarded grants to the total of £13,500.

A post on the County FA website states: “Our  BBFA Football Fund is available for any existing FA Charter Standard Club wishing to develop NEW teams for season 2017/18. This year’s emphasis is supporting male U14-U18, adult male, adult female & disability teams.”

The fund enabled the creation of 20 new teams for the 2016/17 season specifically aiding support with facility hire, new kit and equipment as well as supporting coaches via relevant coaching courses.
