After a cagey first half Bracknell Town broke the deadlock in the Berks & Bucks County FA Senior Trophy Final and a Carl Withers penalty sealed a 2-0 win over Berkshire neighbours Binfield at Windsor’s Stag Meadow ground on Tuesday night.

It was a first trophy in over 20 years for the Robins who led through TJ Bohane when Withers stepped up to fire a late penalty past Moles goalkeeper Liam Vaughan.

Binfield had already seen Sean Moore and Michael Walton sent off in the second period and Withers penalty put the icing on the cake for Bracknell Town with the midfielder bundled by a crowd of youngsters behind the goal which you can see in the video above.

The cup final win comes after 23 years without a trophy – the last being the Isthmian (Ryman) League Division 3 title in 1994 – and only two final appearances in that time, the 2004 Senior Cup Final defeat to Chesham United and the 2014 Hellenic League Supplementary Cup Final loss to Brimscombe & Thrupp.
