The last finalist will emerge on Sunday afternoon for this season’s Bracknell Town & District Sunday League Cup Final fortnight at Bracknell Town’s Larges Lane.

Division 2 Warfield United and Division 1 Finchampstead Sunday Athletic Reserves meet at the Memorial Ground in Finch on Sunday morning with a place in the Junior Cup Final against WAB at stake.

Finch are second in Division 1 and unbeaten in their last five games but underdogs Warfield will be looking at the last two results specifically, a 1-1 draw with second bottom Hurricanes and narrow 1-0 win over bottom side AFC Crowthorne – cup finalists themselves – at the end of February.

United will be without top scorer Ritchie Cohen at the weekend along with Dan Hirst who misses out due to a ankle injury and Andy Crowe but have won three of their last five matches.

Player manager Alex Mellor said in an interview on the clubs website this week he wanted ‘this group of players to have no regrets come 12.15 on Sunday’.

The final takes place at Larges Lane, the home of Bracknell Town in May, full details here.
