If Binfield vs Bracknell Town in the Berks & Bucks County FA Senior Trophy wasn’t mouthwatering enough, Woodley United made it through to the County Intermediate Cup final with a penalty shootout win over Risborough Rangers.

Flying high in Division 1 East, the Kestrels won 4-2 on penalties after finishing the match at 0-0.

And hot on the heals of our push for a local venue in the Senior Trophy, Woodley have done the same for their final with a twitter vote that has Bracknell Town’s newly refurbished Larges Lane ground as the favourite for the final.

Shortly after the post was made, Bracknell Town’s twitter account offered the use of Larges Lane for free to the County – we’ll update you with the official date and location as soon as we know.

Woodley’s opponents in the final will be Thames Valley Premier Division leaders Marlow United who beat Kintbury Rangers 1-0.
