WAB FC closed the gap at the top of the Bracknell Town & District Sunday League Division 2 on Sunday with a 3-1 win over Warfield United – and this superb free kick from Tom Smith.

Lenny Musgrove had already had a go from a free kick in the game, but Smith showed his team mate how it was done.

Musgrove’s strike found the goalkeepers open arms, but Smith’s strike beat everybody – including a flailing arm in the United wall

The win lifted WAB in to second above Binfield Royals – four points and a game in hand behind long-time leaders Berkshire All Stars who won 3-2 themselves at home to Bracknell Saint-Germain.

It was WAB’s fourth win in a row – a run that has seen them score 14 goals in four matches conceding just four.
