News has reached us this morning that Bracknell Town & District Sunday League Division 1 side Whitegrove’s ‘walkover’ in the Berks & Bucks County Sunday Junior Cup will be played this coming weekend.

Whitegrove were due to host Three Horseshoes from Hazlemere at the weekend, but the game was not played and has now been set for Sunday 5th February.

The winner of the tie will be at home in the quarter finals against either Inkpen Spartans or AFC Pangbourne.

Elsewhere, in a rare* FootballinBracknell error after proclaiming there were only three sides left in County competition after the weekend, we have two other matches in the Junior Trophy at the weekend.

Winnersh Rangers defeated Slough Wizards 3-2 on Sunday and will host Southcote Colts in the quarter finals this coming weekend while AFC Crowthorne will setup a home tie with Aylesbury Fusion if they can get past Englefield Eagles Reds.

* we all know that’s not true.
