It will be a day Thames Valley Premier League Division 4 side Harchester Hawks Reserves will want to forget after they conceded 18 goals to Berks County Rovers on Saturday in an 18-1 win.
The Swords put the visitors firmly to the sword with five goals for David Parrott, four for Richard Cumner and hat-tricks apiece for David Amey and Ridesh Gurung – a 23rd minute substitute.
There were also goals for Jordan Ryan, Dan Saunders and Matt Wade while the stand out we’ve spotted so far was this back-heel’d effort from Gurung:

As you can imagine with a scoreline of that magnitude there was a fair amount of goal mouth action, but our favourite from the Berks County twitter account was this brilliant piece of Rovers defending in the Hawks goalmouth.

Elsewhere Berks County Reserves in Division 3 beat White Eagles Reserves 7-2 and the first team were beaten 3-2 at Mortimer in the Premier Division.
