Binfield FC and Highmoor-IBIS sit proudly atop the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division with three wins from three games following victories this week.

Roger Herridge’s Binfield were 4-0 winners over stumbling Burnham on Monday night while Anthony White gave Highmoor a 2-0 win at Bracknell Town.

Liam Ferdinand twice, Ross Seldon and Jean-Claude Etienne were all on the scoresheet for Binfield as they overcame former England international Luther Blissett’s hapless Burnham side.

There were some other big scores in the division as Brimscombe & Thrupp beat newly promoted Carterton 4-0 and Lyndey Town recovered from their defeat at the weekend to beat Oxford City Nomads 3-0.

Thatcham Town got off the mark thanks to a 2-1 win at Tuffley Rovers and Henley Town continued their poor start with a 3-1 defeat at home to Brackley Town Saints.

It looks already like it could be a long hard season for Henley, Burnham and Nomads while Highworth Town could get off the mark tonight against visitors Ascot United.

Ardley United 0 – 5 Flackwell Heath
