The Thames Valley Premier Football League constitution has been revealed with Bracknell based Berks County Football Club continuing in the John Dell Premier Division for 2016/17.

The Thames Valley League – previously know as the Reading Football League – is one step below the Hellenic Football League and the division is made up primarily with clubs from the Berkshire area.

County – who were saved by a new sponsor earlier in the season – will face several trips to Reading and West Berkshire while there will be tough games at reigning champions Reading YMCA and runners-up Marlow United.

The league has a healthy history of promoting clubs to the Hellenic League with Ascot United and Highmoor-IBIS both well established in the Premier Division.

In addition, County’s Rovers side will play in Division 4 while their reserves have been promoted to Division 3.

The league will be made up of five divisions of between 11 and 14 teams.
