Bracknell Town host Thatcham Town tonight in the Perpetua Press Hellenic Floodlit Cup semi final as the two sides battle for a place in the final where Binfield await.

It promises to be a cracking affair with Bracknell top of the form table with Thatcham in second place although the Kingfishers are on a 34-game unbeaten run and can look forward to a Buildbase FA Vase Final place at Wembley in May.

The two sides are also the promotion favourites with both looking likely to go up and the title race could come down to goal difference between the two such is their closeness in ability.

As with previous rounds, we are expecting the Development team management of Andy Findlay and Rob Creech to take the hosts with the side featuring a mix of first team and Development team players as First Team player-manager Carl Davies looks to give players valuable minutes as they gear up for the final push in the title run-in.

Thatcham manager Danny Robinson may call upon the services of 51 goal Shane Cooper-Clark but 34 goal Liam Ferdinand is cup tied. Both though will be well known to the Robins but with fellow strikers Ross Cook and Gavin James on board it gives Robinson the strongest forward collection in the Hellenic League.

Elsewhere, Windsor travel to Highworth Town in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division fresh from their thrilling 4-3 win over Binfield on Tuesday night.

The hosts will regain top spot with victory and whilst it may only be temporary it will put pressure on Bracknell and Thatcham not to drop points when they resume their league campaigns at the weekend.

Windsor are currently in tenth place in their inaugural Hellenic League season and can realistically finish anywhere between eighth and thirteenth place but victory tonight will certainly help their aim of securing a very respectable eighth place finish.
