The weather has ensured Wednesday’s nights planned fixtures across the Uhlsport Hellenic Football League have been postponed with Berkshire sides Binfield and Thatcham Town’s away days both postponed.
Binfield were due to visit Bishop’s Cleeve Development in the Perpetua Press Floodlit Cup while Thatcham had a date with league leaders Highworth Town – but both have been called off following pitch inspections.
Attention now moves to the weekends fixtures when the Moles resume league competition at home to Abingdon United along with Bracknell Town who head to Lydney Town and Windsor join the Robins on the M4 when they visit Longlevens.
Saturday is a big day in the Hellenic League Premier title race.
Highworth have a tricky home tie against Flackwell.
Thatcham travel to 17th place Fairford.
Wantage are home to 19th place Highmoor Ibis.
Bracknell travel to 16th place Lydney.
