It’s not often we get to write a matchday preview on a Monday but as Binfield prepare to host neighbours Ascot United and Bracknell Town head to that Reading to play Highmoor Ibis.

The Moles will be searching for a response following Saturday’s 3-2 defeat at Woodley United while the Yellamen have work to do after a defeat by the same scoreline against Ibis themselves.

Only a point separates the two sides with Binfield having injury concerns over Charley Tuttle and Danny Langford, both who limped out of Saturday’s clash.

Over in Reading, Bracknell will need to start better against Highmoor than they have in their preceding two Hellenic League matches where they’ve had to come from behind to secure the three points.

The Robins are yet to drop any points and what looked like a decent surface at Scours Lane will surely help them but Highmoor have proved a mixed bag already this season and are one of the divisions draw specialists.

Both matches kick off at 7.45pm.
