Monday night football is back again at Hill Farm Lane as Binfield’s Reserves take on title chasing Metropolitan Police Reserves under the lights at 7.45pm.

Ellis Woods young side increased their winning streak to five games on Saturday when they beat Tonbridge Angels 2-1 courtesy of goals from Josh Smith and Jamie McCarthy.

That result – which strengthened the Moles grip on a top five finish, was achieved with out the influential Mo Davies and youngster Owen Powell who were both on duty with Roger Herridge’s first team at Thatcham Town.

Binfield have a six point lead over sixth placed Woking in the Suburban Football League Premier Division and could catch fourth placed Maidenhead United though the Magpies have three games in hand.

Woods side have form going in to the game and beat the visitors 2-1 in the reverse fixture at Imber Court back in October.
