Binfield welcome a much improved Tuffley Rovers to for the first of two Hellenic Premier League fixtures for the Moles this weekend.
Roger Herridge’s side top the table by two points from Thame United – although the Oxfordshire side have a game in hand – and boast one of the divisions top scorers in Liam Ferdinand.
Here’s what to expect if you head down Hill Farm Lane on Saturday.
Injury worries for Moles
Herridge is missing four key players for his side including new signing Asa Povey and forward Jean-Claude Etienne.
Both picked up injuries in the last two games while Mark O’Connell and Alex Walton are also out.
The good news is Jamie Connor (pictured) – he of the stunning winner at Royal Wootton Bassett Town and Sean Moore should both be available.

A ‘tuff-er’ test
Rovers are much improved under Mark Pritchett from the side that avoided relegation by virtue of not enough teams to promote at the end of the 2015/16 season.
Warren Mann has certainly hit the ground running as well with five goals in five games, one short of his total last season from 39 league and cup games.
Tuffley have won three of their four Premier Division games this season – that one defeat coming at home to Thatcham Town.

Herridge described his sides performance against Wootton Bassett last weekend as.. well here’s the tweet..
No going to gloss that performance up today , we were poo 💩💩 but some times you gotta win ugly ! Great goal to win from Jamie Connor ⚽️🔴

..and there was further disappointment on Tuesday night when the Moles lost at Ascot United for the first time this season.
One things for sure will be looking for a response from his players considering the postive start to the season and the league position Binfield find themselves in.
