In a whirlwind 12-hours, Southern League Premier Division South Bracknell Town have announced the return of another former manager.

Jordan Ive departed Bracknell in September 2024 and it has now been confirmed he will return to the Bottom Meadow dugout to complete the season.

Following Kayne Steinborn-Busse’s return to run the club in April, Ive’s replacement Jon Underwood was replaced by former manager Bobby Wilkinson. Five matches, four defeats and one County Cup win later, Wilkinson has been replaced by Ive.

A video statement from Mr Steinborn-Busse confirmed Ive’s return. There was no comment on the length of the former managers return but the suggestion is he is in place to “take the club on a very specific journey”.

Ive will go into the final game of the season now with the Robins place at Step 3 in minor danger. Bracknell are three points clear of the drop zone and it would take a remarkable set of results elsewhere to relegate them, but nonetheless, it may well be a nervy afternoon in Southampton when they take on Sholing.
