Bracknell Town have released a statement saying manager Jordan Ive has decided to step down from his role.
The Southern League Premier Division South side are eighth in the table after five games with two wins, two draws and a defeat so far. However the Robins were knocked out of the FA Cup on Saturday by Step 4 side South Park, having made it to the First Round Proper in each of the last two seasons.
Ive took interim charge in December 2023 following the departures of joint managers Carl Withers and Jamie McClurg, with the role made official in January. Ive had previously been in charge of Sandhurst Town.
The statement said: “It is with regret that we announce Jordan Ive has decided to step down as manager of Bracknell Town FC.
“Since his appointment in December 2023, Jordan has led the team to its second consecutive play-off. His contributions and hard work, particularly during pre-season and the start of this season, will not go unrecognised. We thank him for his achievements and dedication. As a young manager, we are confident that Jordan will continue to excel in his future endeavours.
“We will release a job description and open applications for the vacant managerial position for Jordan Ive’s replacement in the coming days.
“Now under new ownership, Bracknell Town will continue to build on the club’s recent progress. Although this process is still in its early stages, our ambitions remain focused on pushing Bracknell Town to new heights.”
