Combined Counties League Premier Division North side Ascot United will be without one of their most influential players after Ollie Harris suffered a season-ending injury.
Harris confirmed the news on Twitter after the Yellamen had progressed to the FA Vase Fourth Round following a 4-0 win at home to Little Common.
Harris tweeted: “Just like that, season is done for me. ACL reconstruction on the way. Going to be a long journey but I’m ready for it. See you back on the pitch next season better than before.”
