Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division North side Burnham will have an international goalkeeper after some key fixtures in September.

Carl Dennison has been called up to the England 6-a-side team which will compete in the Socca World Cup in Budapest Hungary.

While not a FIFA competition, the Socca World Cup is run by the International Socca Federation (ISF), an organiser of international small-sided football competitions for both national teams and club teams in the formats of 5,6, 7 and 8-a-side football.

For the tournament, England have been drawn in Group F alongside Portugal, Ukraine, Argentina and Tunisia.

Dennison has spent the last few seasons at Step 5 with Burnham, playing 17 times last season as the Blues finished 13th. He has previously played for Slough Town, Beaconsfield Town and Chalfont St Peter as well as Ascot United and Windsor – where he was club captain.
