Pitching In Isthmian League South Central champions Bracknell Town have confirmed a raft of re-signings and contract extensions for their assault on Step 3 in 2022/23.
Robins fans will undoubtedly be relieved to hear that the key duo of Seb Bowerman and captain Max Herbert have agreed to return to Bottom Meadow next season along with forward Joe Grant who missed much of the current season through injury.
Tweeting about the signings, Bracknell revealed Bowerman had agreed a contract extension while Herbert had committed to the club for the next season.
On Grant, manager Bobby Wilkinson said: “He’s put in the hard yards and is nearly back fit. I can’t wait to see him back playing.”
As well as a nomination for Player of the Season at the Berkshire Football Awards, Bowerman recently scooped a slew of trophies at the Robins awards night including Players player, Managers player and Supporters player of the Season as well as being crowned the division’s top scorer.
The Robins have already confirmed that goalkeeper Mark Scott has departed which suggests Michael Eacott remains the clubs number one. How Bracknell adapts to Step 3 is undoubtedly going to be one of the fascinating stories of the summer and the next 12 months.
