Vanarama National League South side Slough Town have revealed the club will enter a team in the Allied Counties Youth League for 2021/22.

The Rebels ranks will be swelled after joining the under 18s competition having launched an under 23s side at the start of last season.

The league announced five clubs would be re-entering teams in the competition next season: “We welcome 5 clubs returning to the ACYL next season. Ash United, Buckingham Athletic, Frimley Green, Hillingdon Borough and Slough Town will be part of our family going forward.”

The Rebels are holding trials for the new side which already has a core of a team. If you are interested in attending trials for this age group on Sunday 11th July, 10-11.30am at Arbour Park, SL2 5AY. Please email gensec@sloughtownfc.net providing your name, age and details on previous clubs and your favoured position by Wednesday 7th July.

The 2020/21 Allied Counties season was, like most, curtailed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However two cup competitions were completed with Chalfont St Peter winning the ‘Plate’ and Aldershot Town winning the Subsidiary Cup.
