Bobby Wilkinson's Bracknell Town management team confirmed

BetVictor Isthmian League South Central Division One side Bracknell Town have announced number of new backroom staff members who will join new boss Bobby Wilkinson at the club.

Wilkinson, who has signed a five year deal at Bracknell, has brought in Mike Percival as his assistant manager. Percival, who has was assistant to Wilkinson at both Hungerford Town and Wealdstone, was in the dugout for Saturday’s 1-1 draw with leaders Hanwell Town.

Also joining the club is former Reading and Fulham forward Lea Barkus who takes up a coaching role and goalkeeping coach Jason Matthews.

Barkus played for Reading between 1991 and 1995, making fifteen appearances and was part of the Royals side that won the 1994 Berks & Bucks County FA Senior Cup but was forced to retire in 1997 while at Fulham due to a back injury.

Matthews was player manager at Weymouth between 2014 and 2017 and subsequently player coach at Chippenham Town and has a wealth of experience at the higher echelons of the non league game, making over 300 appearances for Weymouth and playing for, amongst others Exeter City and Bath City.
