Bracknell Town have confirmed that the clubs Head of Coaching Geoff Warner will be the new first team manager Saturday’s important Bostik League South Central Division 1 fixture.
The Robins are at home to promotion chasing Hayes & Yeading United and have moved quickly to appoint the former Beaconsfield Town manager.
Warner will have the title First Team Head Coach and will be joined by Michael Butcher as Assistant First Team Coach, Butcher joined the club in the summer as Assistant Head Coach.
In addition, Tony Perry will remain as goalkeeping coach while Liam Day remains as the clubs physio, though Gavin Smith has left his role.
Warner steps in to the role vacated by Carl Davies following Tuesday nights 2-0 defeat to Reading FC under 23s in the Berks & Bucks County Cup. Davies said he was stepping down to focus on his playing role at the club.
Update on Saturday’s game: Anyone showing a ticket stub from the Reading match will gain free entry to the home tie against Hayes & Yeading United in the Bostik League.
