Combined Counties League Division 1 side Eversley & California have appointed a new manager ahead of the 2018/19 season.
Ellis Woods – who announced his intention to depart Binfield at the end of the season, is the new man in at Fox Lane and replaces Phil Ruggles who left after two seasons less than a week ago.
Woods had been at Binfield for eight seasons, managing the youth team before moving up to the clubs Suburban League development side where he delivered steady improvement and a fourth place finish this summer.
A statement on the Boars website said: “The club are very happy and pleased to announce our new First Team manager and senior management structure under our Boars Senior Section.
“The club feels our new manager will be able, not only to deliver that plan and progression by moulding our players into the right calibre with the right attitude, which would also support the clubs own growth and pathway as it matures over the coming years.”
As part of Woods backroom team, Jack Medhurst will act as assistant manager and goalkeeping coach, Greg Stokes has been appointed coach and Dan Snook as Development Phase Coach.
