Hellenic League Premier Division side Woodley United have been reinstated in the Berks & Bucks County FA Senior Cup after Quarter Final opponents Thatcham Town were removed from the competition.

The Kestrels had originally been beaten 2-0 by the Kingfishers thanks to goals from Gareth Thomas and Ross Cook, but it’s Woodley who will go on to play Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division side Chesham United in the semi finals. Hellenic Premier Division title challengers Thatcham were removed for fielding an ineligible player.

The fixture adds to an already congested run-in for James Anderson’s relegation threatened side after they saw last Monday’s home fixture with Bracknell Town and this evening’s home fixture with Tuffley Rovers all postponed due to a waterlogged Scours Lane pitch.

The draw revised draw for the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup Semi Finals is as follows:

  • MK Dons vs Slough Town
  • Woodley United vs Chesham United

Dates for both ties are to be confirmed.
