Bracknell Town FC confirm new management team

Following the departure of Jeff Lamb and Paul McGrotty on Monday morning, Bracknell Town have announced that current club captain Carl Davies will take over as Robins player-manager until the end of the season. He will be assisted by Geoff Warner who takes up the role as assistant manager.

Carl Davies will take over with the club in fifth postition in the Hellenic Premier Division, twenty points behind leaders Highworth Town but with six games in hand.

The full statement from Bracknell Town reads: “Yesterday we made the very tough decision to part company with Jeff and Paul. We would like to thank them for their efforts in their short time here and wish them all the best for the future.

“Carl Davies has been appointed Player Manager until the end of the season and we welcome back Geoff Warner as Assistant Manager. Reserve Team Manager Andy Findlay will take the team to Longlevens tomorrow night in the cup.”
