Following the recent set-back in the re-opening of Larges Lane which was due to open on Saturday 19th November – Bracknell Town Football Club have confirmed the ground will now open for business in early December.

The official date – believed to be Tuesday 6th December – will see local rivals Binfield as the visitors, arguably the most fitting of opponents in the latest edition of the B3018 derby.

Larges Lane had been due to re-open with the visit of Thatcham Town in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier League on Saturday but issues around getting the ground graded have seen the date pushed back.

We have been told that the new facility will be up and running in time for the weekend allowing training sessions as well as youth and ladies matches to take place, but the big opening for first team football will now be in early December.
