MP for Bracknell Dr Phillip Lee has added his backing to the redevelopment of Bracknell Town’s Larges Lane ground in a comment shared with us.

The approval from Bracknell Forest Borough Council for significant redevelopment of the ground at Larges Lane was given last week, and the club announced the news along with a significant rebrand of the club on Friday night.

Dr Lee’s comment on the approval is in full here:

“I am really pleased that Bracknell Town FC’s application to upgrade its existing football ground, including the installation of a new 3G pitch, has been approved.

“Improving football facilities and increasing participation is one of my key local priorities, and I have been working closely with Bracknell Town FC, as well as other local clubs, the FA, Reading FC, Waitrose and Bracknell Forest Council to achieve this.

“This is great news for the club’s players as well as the local area, and I look forward to supporting them long into the future.”
