A kit leak has revealed the colours of which Maidenhead United will be playing in for the forthcoming season.
Produced by Uhlsport, the club announced a new third strip on Monday, which was used for the first time against Bracknell Town over the weekend and can be seen above worn by Seth Twumasi.
The kit features a yellow shirt with a black/yellow chequered pattern on the shoulders, as well with a black stripe on the sides. G&L Scientific sponsor the front of the shirt, whilst the Maidenhead Advertiser feature on the rear.
The strip is available online at mufcdirect.co.uk, but a technical mishap has also revealed details of the Magpies’ other two kits.
The home strip retains the black and white stripes, which have become synonymous with the club’s recent history. While an image of the shirt is not available, the shorts are revealed to be black, with the Uhlsport logo on the left thigh and club’s own badge on the right.
The Magpies’ will use a different change strip for a third successive season. For the 2019/20 campaign, United will be using a red/navy top accompanied by “fluorescent red” shorts. Although not confirmed, it appears that the shirt will be a slightly darker shade of red than the shorts.
Speculation surrounding the new kit had been ripe for some time, as the club were forced to change supplier after BLK Sport ceased trading last year.
