The draw for the 2025/26 FA Vase First Round Proper is due on Tuesday after the weekend Second Qualifying Round fixtures are complete.
There are eight fixtures involving nine Berkshire sides during the Second Qualifying Round at the weekend, including 2018 winners Thatcham Town who will host Wessex League Avonmouth at Waterside Park.
The West Berkshire side returned to the Vase following relegation from Step 4 in the summer and beat Odd Down 2-0 in First Qualifying Round after seven seasons in the FA Trophy.

Who’s in the FA Vase First Round Proper Round draw?
23 teams have been exempt from the first two rounds of the FA Vase after reaching the Third Round in 2024/25, but not progressing to the Fourth. There are a further 23 teams exempt until the Second Round including holders Whitstable Town.
Among the sides exempt to the First Round are Burnham, Tadley Calleva and Windsor & Eton.

As it stands and subject to results in the Second Qualifying Round, AFC Aldermaston, Berks County, Eversley & California, Langley, Reading City, Sandhurst Town, Thatcham Town, Virginia Water and Wokingham Town are all ‘in the hat’ for the FA Vase First Round draw.

When is the FA Vase First Round draw?
The FA has confirmed the FA Vase First Round Proper draw will be released on Tuesday 23rd September at 1pm.
