Maidenhead United have been handed a very winnable FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round draw as the Magpies attempt to win the competition for the 143rd time.
Maidenhead were drawn out away to the South West side who were relegated from the Vanarama National League South last season – Alan Devonshire’s side have made the FA Cup First Round Proper in eight of the last nine seasons but haven’t reached the Second Round in the post-war era.
The other Berkshire side in the competition – Slough Town – meanwhile, have an altogether tougher proposition when they make the short trip to Vanarama National League Woking.
The Rebels have enjoyed regular runs in the competition and last season famously took Grimsby Town to a replay in the First Round.
The FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round draw for Berkshire
- Taunton Town v Maidenhead United
- Woking v Slough Town
Ties in the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round will take place on the weekend of Saturday 12th October.
