Binfield Football Club has announced a planned venue change for Tuesday night’s Isthmian League South Central Division One tie with Sutton Common Rovers.

The match, scheduled for Tuesday 9th April, will now be played down the road at Isthmian League neighbours Ascot United.

A statement released by the club said: “Due to the wettest winter on record, the Moles have seven games to play in less than three weeks. To ensure that we fulfil our fixtures, the decision has been made to move our home game against Sutton Common Rovers on Tuesday 9th April to The Racecourse Ground, the home of Ascot United.

“Although this is not an ideal situation, with the forecast rain at the beginning of next week, this will ensure that the game can be played as the Moles continue to battle to avoid relegation. We would like to thank our friends at Ascot United for their support in helping us move this fixture.”

Kick off at the Racecourse Ground is 7:45pm.
