Southern Region Women’s Football League reveal 2023/24 opening day fixtures

The Southern Region Women’s Football League is home to several of our women’s teams across the county.

Ascot United and Woodley United, having been promoted from Division One North at the end of the 2022/23 season, will ply their trade in the Tier 5, Premier Division. Whilst Ascot United Phoenix, Caversham United and Eversley & California will all compete in Tier 6, Division One North.

The season will begin on Sunday 3rd of September, with most fixtures expected to take place at the customary 2pm kick off time.

Premier Division

Abingdon Town v Woodley United (OX13 6TY)
Ascot United v Wycombe Wanderers (SL5 7LJ)
Badshot Lea v Winchester City Flyers
Bournemouth Sports v Warminster Town
Eastleigh in the Community v Oxford City

Division One North

Abingdon United Development v Wycombe Wanderers Reserves
Beaconsfield Town v Penn & Tylers Green
Caversham United v Milton United (RG4 7LB)
Chesham United Reserves v Long Crendon
Kidlington Youth v Eversley & California (OX5 1AU)

The following weekend will also see Caversham United begin their Vitality Women’s FA Cup journey in the First Round Qualifying as Marpledurham plays host to Camden & Islington United (Division One North, London & South East Regional Women’s League) on Sunday 10th of September.
