While Ascot United were winning the Combined Counties League Premier Division North title, Berks County took the advantage in the Division One title race with a 2-1 win at Sandhurst Town.

The Swords top the table with four to play and have played a game less the London Samurai Rovers.

Sandhurst remain the big unknown in all of this with 10 to play in the extended Combined Counties League season with 30 more points a possibility.

On Thursday night Logan Coles scored after seven minutes for Sandhurst before first Shaun Wylie levelled and Ellis Day struck a winner.

In the Premier Division North, Windsor remain in deep trouble at the foot of the table after a 3-0 defeat to Holyport who appear all but safe for another season while Reading City’s play-off push received a shot in the arm with a 2-1 win at home to Harefield United.
