The FA have released the Fourth Round Proper draws for the 2021/22 Vitality Women’s FA Cup. There will be 16 ties in this round with Women’s Super League sides entering.

Here’s how things look for our only Berkshire side remaining in the competition.

  • Brighton & Hove Albion v Reading

The Royals were knocked out at the first attempt during the 2020/21 series of the competition. A five goal thriller against Tottenham Hotspur, which saw the sides level at the break with a goal each. Fara Williams with Reading’s strike just 12 minutes in. All was square at full time with two a piece from both squads. Reading’s second from Rachel Rowe. Into extra time and heartbreak for the Royals as Jessica Naz scored the winner for Spurs three minutes in, with Reading unable to respond.

Fourth Round Proper will take place on Sunday 22nd of January, 2022. Fourth Round Proper winners will receive £2,000, whilst the losing side will collect £500.
