Wokingham & Emmbrook inviting applicants for first-team manager role

Following the departures of Dan Bateman and Matt Eggleston from their managerial positions at Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division North side Wokingham & Emmbrook, the club are advertising for a replacement.

The Sumas were promoted to step 5 in the summer and will kick off their season on August 7th at Easington Sports in the FA Cup.

A statement released by the club on Sunday night said: “After three successful years with the Sumas, our team managers Dan Bateman and Matt Eggleston have decided to step down due to job and family commitments, but will remain involved with the club in another capacity. New coach Sam Wilson will stay on to continue with team training.”

The club have asked anyone interested, with the appropriate experience and qualifications, to contact either President Mark Ashwell or Chairman Steve Williams.
