Goalscorers (or goalkeeper if clean sheet)
HT: Stefan Sukara, Graham High, Joe Sawyer, Tae Eom
SB: Louis Elford
Your player of the match
HT: Stefan Sukara was Hype Train’s man of the match for running the show in central midfield. Sukara scored a free-kick in the first-half and set up the team’s third goal too.
SB: The machine Josh Spicer was Southbank man of the match for his tireless work up and down both flanks.
Best moment of the match
HT: All four players who scored netted for the first time for the club, with our second goal lobbing the Southbank keeper the pick of the goals.
SB: Southbank Manager Alan Levey stepping in as a replacement for the no-show referee and taking one for the team was probably the highlight!
Most ‘Sunday League’ moment of the day?
HT: The referee didn’t turn up so the Southbank Manager stepped up and did the duty in the middle and did a very good job and was fair for both teams.
SB: Both our centre half and Hype Train’s centre forward limping off with hammy injuries after a first half sprint for the ball was pretty ‘Sunday League’. That and the ref not showing up of course.
Absolutely anything else?
HT: N/A
SB: To be fair, we should mention that it was a cracking free kick from the Hype Train to level the scores at 1-1.
