Reading Women discover Continental Cup quarter-final opponents

The Royals have been handed a tough Quarter Final draw

Fresh from their 3-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on the weekend Reading Women discovered their Continental Cup opponents this lunchtime,

They will face current FA Women’s Super League champions Arsenal away from home. It’s a daunting prospect for Reading who lost 3-0 against Arsenal at Adams Park on the 8th of December.

The full Quarter Final draw is:

  • Arsenal vs Reading
  • Sheffield United vs Manchester City
  • Manchester United vs Brighton & Hove Albion
  • Chelsea vs Aston Villa

The quarter final will be played on Wednesday 15th January or Thursday 16th January.

Reading Women’s next game is at Kingsmeadow where they will face Chelsea on Sunday 5th January 2020 at 12:30pm. Their next home game is at Adams Park where they’ll face Birmingham City on 12th January 2020 at 2pm.
